Osolo Installs New Chiefs On June 29

The Osolo of Isolo, Oshodi Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State, His Royal Majesty Oba Alayeluwa Faronbi Olakunle Shekoni will install new Chiefs at his palace on June 29, 2025.

According to a statement credited to the intelligent business man turned traditional ruler, the event is necessary to allow for a proper organisation of the ancient community.

Osolo revealed further that individuals and personalities that have distinguished themselves in their various fields will be encouraged with chieftaincy titles coupled with the contributions they have made towards the economic growth of Isolo.

The monarch added that the government cannot do everything alone in the development of any community, adding that there is the need for stakeholders to complement government efforts in nation building by conceptualising projects that will improve the economic prosperity of their domains.

There will be several side attractions including masquerade displays and the promotion of the various cultural heritage of the Isolo people.

Guests expected at the event include Governor Babajide Sanwolu of Lagos State among other key players in the community.

The monarch restated his determination to continue to protect the interests that will improve the living condition of the people of Isolo.

The traditional ruler pointed out that he would continue to preserve and protect the traditional heritage of the people and ensure that it does not go into extinction. He claimed that this would be done with the cooperation of other traditional chiefs and other stakeholders in his domain.
